In Mirage: Arcane Warfare, the calm of a strange fantasy world is shattered by ruthless civil war. Warriors armed with steel and magic bring violence and death as they do battle across a fantastical Arabian and Persian-inspired setting of desert sands, market bazaars and grand palaces.
The Video depicts a game similar to Torn Banners Chivalry: Medieval Warfare title but with a change of scenery and the added ability to use magic the game takes on a more interesting tone. The blood and gore also seems to be something they are strongly focusing on with this new title, making it very apparent in the video that heads along with other body parts will fly. The combat looks like a lot of fun and very reminiscent of Chivalry, which is definitely a good thing.
Mirage: Arcane Warfare is set to release via Steam later this year and will feature a range of classes each with their own unique weapon and skill sets, multiple multiplayer game modes, and many other features. We will get more information on Mirage: Arcane Warfare in the coming months but the as of right now the video has peaked my interest and will definetly stay on my radar for games to look out for.
The game will officially make its debut at GDC in San Francisco, March 14-18 but you can get an exclusive first look at the game today.
