After 15 years of hard work and crazy amount of blood, sweat and tears. The team at Two Tribes has decided that the new game RIVE will be the final game they create. Yes, it’s very sad to see a game company announce in this fashion, but it’s not bad.
What is RIVE you ask? It’s a 2D shooter / platformer with old school gaming values in a decidedly new school execution. During the game’s intense 360 degree shooting and platforming action, players learn to alter the behavior of their robotic enemies by collecting and uploading hacks. You can see all this in the new trailer below. Under the trailer is the short version of the news, but again enjoy the trailer. RIVE is set to come to a game system near you Sept. 2016 and boy will you have a good time.
