Activision Publishing Inc, Nickelodeon, and Platinum Games are teaming up to bring one of the most unique Ninja Turtles game in recent memory this summer. Mutants in Manhattan has the nostalgic all googley-eyed, while action gaming fans look forward to another tight brawler. Either way, it looks like a good time and the franchise is in the best hands with Platinum, the folks behind Bayonetta and Transformers Devastation. Expect responsive, flashy combat and classic characters showing up in the most Platinum Games way. Who knew Bebop like chainsaws?
To add to the awesome designs of the turtles, special costumes will be given out as pre-order bonuses. Gamestop will be offering Rock and Roll skins for each of the turtles. Those pre-ordering through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store, or Steam will be getting Samurai outfits, again one for each of the turtles. All of the costumes look awesome, but I get more a Beasty Boys vibe from the Rock and Roll set, rather than an AC/DC look. We’ll see how these turtles deal with Shredder on May 24th.
