It has been seven years since Halo Wars came out. Many fans loved it, but a sequel was put on the backburner for years. Last year, we were teased, this year we are shown. Meet Halo Wars 2.
With Halo Wars 2, we get a chance to dive deeper into the story of Halo. Halo Wars 2 is being released on Februrary 21st, 2017. Get ready to control the fight again. However, you do not have to wait until next February to try it out. Starting today, there will be a week long open Beta for Halo Wars 2 on the Xbox One. Starting today, you can play Domination with new units, leadersm special abilities and new depth. Battle for supremacy on the Ark until June 16th. Starting June 17th and lasting until June 20th, you can try out deathmatch. May the best commander win.
It will be released on Xbox One, as well as Windows 10. On top of this, it will be a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, which will allow players to buy on one device, and be able to play on the other, no limits. Save files will transfer, and achievements will carry over as well.
