We are little more then a month away from christmas in July, but gamers on the northern hemisphere cannot wait to start preparing the christmas list for this December. Possibly due to a coding error, a release date for Dead Rising 4 was leaked on the Xbox Live marketplace claiming that Dead Rising 4 would be released on Xbox One and Windows 10 on December 6th. This release date falls right within the window of holiday 2016 that Xbox and Capcom announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference this year.
A few minutes after the mistake was noticed, the listing stated returned coming soon. At the moment there is still no official announcement as to when Dead Rising 4 will be released, but we do know that there will be snow on the ground somewhere in the northern hemisphere when it releases.
Dead Rising 4 takes places sixteen years after the first Dead Rising and Frank West is returning to Willamette, Colorado. Dead Rising 4 will feature four player co-op, which will make shopping for presents and slaughtering zombie hordes easier and more enjoyable. Dead Rising 4 will be an Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive. Dead Rising 4 will take place during the holiday season, so expect to see a lot of festive selfies and landscape shots as Frank West attempts to save Christmas for the people of Willamette.
Images from Dead Rising 4 were leaked the week before E3, which ruined the surprise however that would not stop Microsoft and Xbox from revealing Dead Rising 4 during their press conference. For future Dead Rising 4 info, you can check stop by here or check out the Dead Rising 4 Twitter feed.
