It’s pretty clear that everyone is playing Pokémon Go. Well, not EVERYONE, but darn near. While it is mostly fun and games, the reports of robberies and trespassing put a bit of a dark cloud on it. Now we have a story that should put a chill in the heart of anything sneaking around on their significant other.
New Yorker Evan Scribner found out just how dangerous playing Pokémon Go can be when he was caught cheating on his girlfriend. Thanks to the geolocation on his phone, his girlfriend saw he had caught a Pokémon in Bushwick, New York while Evan was at an ex-girlfriends house. It was pretty tough to argue why he was catching Pokémon near his exes house, and now he’s single.
“She saw that I had caught a Pokémon while at my ex’s house,” Scribner said, ““She found out last night at my house and hasn’t contacted me since then.”
This might be the most hilarious story to come out of the Pokémon phenomenon. Perhaps the cheaters out there should take a break from catching Rattata’s while visiting their exes.
