Earlier this year, Ubisoft announced that no new Assassins Creed game would be released during 2016 and that the next new installment to the franchise would come in 2017. However earlier today, a user by the tag Catmario released information that hints that Assassins Creed: Ezio Collection may be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
Since the release of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, multiple video games from past gaming generations have been either rereleased or remastered for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4, so it would come as no surprise if Assassins Creed: Ezio Collection was the next bundle to be rereleased with an HD remastering.
On NeoGAF, a user by the tag CatMario shared a listing from the Korean Game Rating Board. Last week, the Korean Game Rating Board published their age rating for the Assassins Creed: Ezio Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as 18 and above. Currently, there has been no announcement from Ubisoft that an Assassin’s Creed title would be coming out this year besides the Assassins Creed movie in December.
Will the Assassins Creed title released this year only be the Assassins Creed: Ezio Collection HD or will we see a giant bundle similar to that of Halo Master Chief collection, which would include Assassins Creed, Assassins Creed 2, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Assassins Creed Revelations, and Assassins Creed 3. The giant bundle is doubtful but is always a possibility, more than likely it will just be the Assassins Creed: Ezio Collection HD coming out in October.
Fans of the Assassins Creed franchise have often said that the games with Ezio Auditore have been the best Assassins Creed games with Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag tied or slightly below. If the Assassins Creed: Ezio Collection HD does come out in October, expect for its retail price to be around $30-$40.
