Space. The final frontier. It has always been a mystery to mankind. What is out there? What lies beyond the stars we see in space? Well, sometimes what’s out there isn’t friendly, and they want to take what is out beyond their stars. In the X-COM series, you are tasked with controlling the Extraterrestrial Combat Unit, or the titular X-COM. X-COM 2 released earlier this year, however it is coming next week to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. So 2K created a new video to promote the game.
XCOM Lost – What Happened? will catch players up on what happened in between Enemy Unknown and 2. Spoiler alert: you lost. Aliens took over Earth. However, it is now your duty 20 years later to rebuild X-COM and take Earth back. Over these past years, enemies and areas have changed due to experimentation and alien control. An interesting thing to note is that just because you play one area in the beginning game, doesn’t mean it will be the same the next visit back.
