There are several rumors flying around the internet today about an accidental, yet unverified, Nintendo Switch price leak. According to anonymous sources from letsplayvideogames.com, there’s a SKU that is holding the price of the Switch’s basic model at £199.99 with a second SKU serving as a possible bundle at £249.99.
Several other websites are reporting about the potential price release, including wccftech.com who claims there is a listing from a Canadian Toys “R” Us website that lists the console for $329.99 (Canadian dollars). Unfortunately, the link does not work properly or Toys “R” Us already took removed the listing.
If the rumors are to be believed, the U.S. market is looking to pay around $249 for the Nintendo Switch on launch!
Is this a reasonable price point for the Nintendo Switch? It’s still too early to speculate with how hush-hush Nintendo is in regards to it’s newest addition to the console wars, but it’s certainly a competitive price point!
