Developer Prideful Sloth announced earlier today, that its upcoming adventure game, Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles, would be making its way to PC and the PlayStation 4, towards the middle part of next year.
An open-world adventure, Yonder is set on a massive island called Gemea, where players will step into the shoes of a hero on a quest to become the island’s champion. Players will explore eight distinct environments, from tropical beaches to snowy summits, while working to save the people of Gemea from the murk, which has shrouded the island paradise and its people, in despair. To combat the murk, players will be able to join forces with natives and Sprites, ethereal creatures whom are the only thing capable of dispersing the murk.
While an exact release date for Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles was not given at this time, we do know that the game is expected for the PC and PlayStation 4, in the second quarter of 2017.
