I remember my first Destiny Christmas. It was filled with disappointment, and a weapon I couldn’t use. That seems to be different this year, with The Dawning launching on December 13th. With more holiday events than you can shake a candy cane at, The Dawning will make sure your stockings are stuffed with events, activities and loot!
The Dawning will be a three-week winter event. Starting December 13th and ending in the New Year, players will have the opportunity to get themed swag. Snow, presents, snow robot angels, and more will fill the Tower. However, I know you all want to know what this has in store for us as players. Two words: Sparrow Racing. Dash through the snow on your own motorized sleigh. Get ready for new Sparrows and new tracks throughout these weeks. Once The Dawning is over, Sparrow Racing can be continued in Private Matches.
Also included will be Strike scoring, medals, new quests, and of course, that sexy loot. Get ready for wacky decorative hats, like engram head, and Snow heads. Also there are emblems, shaders, and armor galore. Even better, get ready to regenerate some ammo. Ice Breaker is back and it’s ready to reintroduce itself. Complete with ornaments, get ready to reuse some of your favorite year one and two exotics.
