In a recent announcement, publisher Udon Entertainment, revealed that a new crossover comic book series starring Capcom’s World Warriors and Night Warriors, titled Street Fighter VS. Darkstalkers.
The new series will see the likes of Ken, Chun-Li, Rashid, Sagat, and Akuma face off against Morrigan, Felicia, Jon Talbain, Bishamon, and Donovan. It will debut with issue #0, in February of 2017, with three cover options. This special prelude issue will feature story from Matt Moylan, and art from Hanzo Steinbach.
The main series will follow soon after, as an 8-issue series with the main team consisting of Ken Siu-chong (story) and Edwin Huang (art). Beginning with issue #2, the series will also include 4-page backup stories from a variety of creators.
Udon Entertainment has published a variety of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers inspired titles, including Street Fighter Legends: Ibuki and Darkstalkers:The Ultimate Edition.
