Earlier today, developer Terrible Posture Games and publisher Grip Digital, unveiled its upcoming PC and console game, Mothergunship, which combines two genres into one terrifying bullet-hell FPS hybrid experience.
In Mothergunship, players will step into the shoes of Earth’s last hope, as they face off against hordes of robotic alien invaders. Faced with overwhelming odds, players will have to stay on their toes, as they dodge hundreds of bullets with unique gameplay inspired by both FPS and bullet-hell games, battling through ships filled with alien machines, deadly traps, and intimidating bosses.
To survive their alien encounters, players will rely on their ability to craft, using their imagination to create their dream gun, everything from twelve-barrels that shoot homing rockets, to lighting blasting shotguns. Gamers will also have the option to team up with friends in a full co-op experience.
Mothergunship will be available for the PC, via Steam, as well as on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. To learn more about the game, you can visit the official site, and for a quick look at the game, the announcement trailer can be found below.
