French developer Enigami’s Action-RPG, Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom, is due to release in the middle of April, and to get gamers ready, publisher Focus Home Interactive has today released a new trailer, introducing gamers to the main cast.
In Shiness, players will join Chado and the rest of his companions, as they travel through the celestial islands of the now fragmented planet, Mahera. In their journey, they will find themselves drawn in to the middle of a conflict involving multiple kingdoms, with Chado’s newfound ability to see and communicate with the Shiness, mysterious spirits embued with magic, being the best way to bring about a peaceful end to the explosive situation.
The new trailer can be found below, and gives gamers a brief glimpse at what they can expect to see from the five playable characters, each with their own distinct playstyles and personalities. Chado is a young Waki, who dreams of traveling beyond his home town; Poky is Chado’s faithful friend, and what he lacks in courage, he makes up for with a talent in engineering; Rosalya is shy, and possesses a powerful affinity towards fire, which helps her in her search for a mysterious truth; Askel is a young mercenary, enigmatic and well-known in Mahera; while Kayenne is a strong and natural born leader, able to stay calm in even the most intense situations.
Focus Home Interactive will be releasing Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom, digitally for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, beginning on Apr. 18, 2017. To learn more about the game, you can visit the official site.
