Trendy Entertainment has just announced that their action-tower defense RPG Dungeon Defenders II will be officially launching on June 20th. While the game is currently available as a Steam Early Access title for PC and in early access on PlayStation 4, the final game will launch on those platforms, as well as Xbox One for the very first time.
Dungeon Defenders II brings together tower defense games and RPGs to create a unique take on the genre. It features “classic elements like loot, pets, a variety of heroes to level up and more.” You can play single-player or head online to play up to four-player co-op in various game modes. Dungeon Defenders II also offers local splitscreen co-op on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Dungeon Defenders II will remain Free-To-Play, but will be supported by in-game purchases of “new heroes, costumes, tower skins, pets, inventory space, and more.”
