Killer Instinct, the free-to-player fighting game on Xbox One and PC, will be adding its 29th character to the roster. Eagle, revealed in a teaser trailer you can see below, will be joining the fight “Post-E3”, according to a Tweet sent out by Killer Instinct Community Manager Rukari Austin.
There wasn’t a ton of other info about this newest fighter revealed, but according to the Killer Instinct Wikia, he was first mentioned in Killer Instinct (1994) and is the younger brother of Thunder. He was “kidnapped by Ultratech and used as the basis for their cyborg soldier Fulgore (or the Fulgore MK. III in the rebooted universe), until he was released from his confinement by Glacius.”
Killer Instinct for Xbox One and PC was first released in 2013, and was developed by Double Helix Games, Iron Galaxy Studios, Rare, and Microsoft Studios under supervision of Ken Lobb. The game is currently in its third season and has released many characters since launch, including General RAAM from the Gears of War franchise and the Arbiter from the Halo series.
