During Anime Central in Rosemont, Illinois this weekend, anime producer Nozomi Entertainment and distributor Right Stuf Inc. discussed release details for some of their upcoming titles, as well as announced the acquisition of Galaxy Angel Z.
Among the titles discussed was Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation, the compilation collection of the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam anime series. The film collection is slated for North American release on Blu-ray this year. It will feature Japanese audio along with English subtitles.
Another title that will be making its way to Blu-ray this year, is the ufotable produced comedy series, Ninja Nonsense, based on the manga by Ryoichi Koga. Nozomi Entertainment will be releasing the series in 2017, with both Japanese and English audio options, as well as English subtitles.
The real news announced during the panel this weekend, is that the publisher has licensed Galaxy Angel Z, the 18-episode science-fiction comedy produced by Madhouse. The series sees the Galaxy Angels returning to action, investigating a thief-filled haunted mansion, wrestling the strongest man in the universe, and Mint even becomes a village celebrity with the help of a costume.
Nozomi Entertainment will be releasing Galaxy Angel Z on Blu-ray in 2018. It will include both English and Japanese audio, along with English subtitles. The first Galaxy Angel series released on Blu-ray in February of this year.
