Continuing its week of new license announcements, manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment has announced its fourth new title this week, Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho.
Chimaki Kuori’s new iteration of a classic, Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho sees Saint Seiya getting its first all-woman team. Following a space-wide civil war, started by Gemini Gold Saint, Saga, a new team of Saints comes together in order to protect their goddess, Athena. Powered by the Zodiac, this new team will use their cunning, strength, and compassion to defend their worlds and oppose their destinies.
Seven Seas Entertainment will be publishing Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho in print as single volume editions. The first ($12.99) is currently slated for release on Feb. 6, 2018. The series is also expected to see an anime adaptation of the manga as well.
Throughout this week, Seven Seas has announced the acquisitions of Giant Spider & Me: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale, Fauna and the Dragonewts’ Seven Kingdoms, and Ultra Kaiju Anthropomorphic Project. With one more day left in the work week, we can likely expect to hear from the publisher one more time.
