Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age that focuses more on story and allows you to see the game’s remastered visuals and soundtrack in motion. Originally launched for the PlayStation 2 in 2006, Final Fantasy XII takes place in Ivalice, where the kingdom of Dalmasca is caught between the two warring empires Archadia and Rozarria. Princess Ashe, the heir to the Dalmascan throne, has formed a resistance to liberate her homeland while Vaan, a young thief, dreams of flying free in the skies. Final Fantasy XII begins when these two characters meet, and set in motion events that will change the fate of the world.
Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age takes everything from the original release, and presents it with high-definition graphics, a remastered soundtrack, 7.1-surround sound, speed mode, an auto save feature, faster loading times, a new Trial Mode and more. In addition, the Zodiac Job System is included, which allows you to pick two of twelve jobs to level up and progress throughout the game. The Zodiac Job System was included in the Japan-only Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac System.
