Have you ever wanted to explore the characters and realms of League of Legends further than just reading the lore and interactive comics? Have you ever wondered what it would like to see your favorite champions in their natural environment? Well look no further because a modder by the moniker C ME has created a mash between Pokemon and League; the game that C ME created is called Pokemon League of Legends.
The Pokemon League of Legends Emerald ROM hack is C ME’s love child complete with environments that reflect regions from LoL lore. Summoners can travel through Valoran as a young Summoner where they will discover the rich history of the regions and interact with a diverse range of characters. Create your team of Champions to defeat the Gym Leaders of the region and help fight off the evil Noxians along the way. Players can then challenge the elite Summoners at the World Championships and gain the prestigious title of the Champion. Although the summoner may think that the Noxians are the source of all evil they will soon discover that a more sinister evil is at work trying to rule over Valoran.
Pokemon League of Legends contains all Champions up to Camille, all of which are obtainable. Interact with different champions and players throughout the world. Champion sprites are animated just like other sprites in Emerald. All Champions have a Pokedex entry, cries, and stats. Champions cries are just the Champion’s voices and not just electronic noises. Each champion has a fainting cry that uses the champions death noise, so if you want to hear Yasuo die over and over again, now you can. There are over five hundred unique moves in Pokemon League of Legends with new effects for ones not in the original Emerald. Champions can have one of 75 new abilities or passives.
All areas of Valoran can be accessed as long as the summoner has a Champion that comes from that region. The game has an immersive storyline with fun Post-Game Battles in the Fleshing Arena and similar places. Technique and abilities are split between Physical or magical damage, ranged or auto attacks. Fairy type moves play a part in the adaptation. The game uses the Black2/White2 Repel system, which is great for long journeys in the Kumungu Jungle. Summoners will not have to deal with annoying Pokénav calls, however, you can still rematch Summoners and Gym Leaders. The game supposedly has three scripted Pokénav calls but that might depend on the path you take
Items from League of Legends can be found in Pokemon League of Legends throughout the map; be on the lookout for Poro Snacks to feed the loveable fur balls. Summoners no longer need HM’s to get around environments; summoners can use items instead oh HM’s. Pokemon League of Legends uses music from League of Legends with some of the music being slightly altered. The game supposedly does not use currency, just like the newer Pokemon games.
The game has new cool tiles and battle backgrounds so that the player can have a more enriched experience. New trainer classes have been added to the game to represent different professions. The secret base system is incorporated and players can place one of thirty-five Champion dolls for those looking to decorate their Secret Base. Summoners can alter the skins for some of their Champions; skin changes can lead to strategic implications.
Summoners can meet and battle with famous LoL players and teams; this may be your only chance to be pros like Faker, Bjergson, Impact, Madlife, and Sword Art. Supposedly the default text’s speed is fast so there is no need to adjust your settings. Pokemon League of Legends features new text frames that players can unlock each time they earn a new badge. Show off your diamond border with pride! Champions will not die from poison in the overworld which makes Teemo’s poison slightly less annoying.
After two-and-a-half years of hard work, C ME has completed production on the game and it is now available to download on the PokeCommunity forums. If you enjoy League of Legends or Pokemon this might just be the experience you are waiting for.
