Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Featured

The recent Pokémon Nintendo Direct revealed to the world that Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon will be arriving on the Nintendo 3DS on November 17th, 2017. In addition, Pokémon Gold & Silver will be launching on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console on September 22nd, 2017, the same day as Pokkén Tournament DX, which will be on the Switch.

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon will feature new Pokémon not seen in the original games and new forms to such familiar Pokémon as Solgaleo and Lunala. Looking at the footage shown, it appears these legendary Pokémon may have fused with another Legendary named Necrozma. Only time will tell the truth. In addition, there will be new additions to the story and other added features.

Also announced today was the Pokémon Gold & Silver are headed to the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. Originally released on the Gameboy Color in Japan on November 21, 1999 this was the second generation in the Pokémon series. As with other 3DS Virtual Console titles, Pokémon Gold & Silver will take advantage of such modern features as wireless Link Trades and Link Battles. Also, these titles will also be able to use the Time Capsule function to Link Trade between Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow and utilize the Pokémon Bank to transfer Pokémon to current generations.
