SUPERHOT and SUPERHOT VR will be arriving on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR respectively on July 19th in Europe and July 21st in North America. Originally released in 2016 for PC, SUPERHOT is a First Person Shooter in which time only moves when you do. It’s a very unique take on the genre and has a very distinct artstyle in which enemies explode like glass when hit. SUPERHOT also boasts a very minimalist color palette in which enemies are clearly visible in red amidst otherwise white and sterile backgrounds.
SUPERHOT VR was built from the ground up to take full advantage of motion and using the environment to its full potential. From the trailer, you can see the player picking up objects with PlayStation Move controllers and throwing them as you would in real life.
SUPERHOT and SUPERHOT VR do come separately, however, and each run $24.99. You can also purchase the SUPERHOT MIND IS SOFTWARE BUNDLE which puts both titles together for $39.99.
