Ubisoft announced that they would be holding an open beta test for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War a new player-versus-player (PvP) mode. The open beta for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War will be available on all platforms later this summer, and the new game mode will release as a free update to all Ghost Recon Wildlands owners later this fall.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands was developed by Ubisoft Paris and is a playable multiplayer military shooter; Wildlands can be played either through 4-player co-op or single-player from beginning to end. Throughout the game, players have the freedom to choose how they want to accomplish their missions and watch as the world reacts to their actions. Players can choose to move silently in the shadows, go in guns-ho at dawn, or work together to execute a synchronized shot that takes out enemies in one fell swoop. Each choice the player makes has a consequence and players must improvise or adapt their plans on the sport in order to ensure the completion and success of each mission.
In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War, two groups of players will team up to take part in a four-versus-four team death match experience that builds on the tactical squad play established in the main game. Teams will choose from a roster of varying classes that fill specific roles on the battlefield as they navigate large-scale, open maps and take down those that are in your way. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War will also integrate new PvP mechanics including suppressive fire and sound markers; these new additions will help create a true military strategic, team-based multiplayer mode.
How do you think this new addition will impact Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands? Is Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Ghost War a worthwhile expansion? Will Ghost War rejuvenate Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands or is this an attempt that will ultimately fail?
