When Fire Emblem Heroes’ was gearing up for release earlier this year, an online poll was created by the developers to see which of the many Fire Emblem characters were the favorites, with a promise of special costumed versions of these winning heroes arriving in the future. Well, the future is now, and we finally know who won and what these special costumes look like.
First up is the second-place winner for the women, Brave Princess Lucina. At 5-Star ranking, she will gain the ability to learn the Geirskogul skill (Mt: 16, Rng: 1) which grants Def+3, and grants allies with sword, lance, axe, bow, or dagger within 2 spaces Atk/Spd+3 during combat. She will also be able to learn Drive Spd 2 which will grant allies within 2 spaces Spd+3 during combat.
Next, we have the second-place winner for the men, Brave Lion Roy from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. At 5-Star ranking, he will be able to learn Blazing Durandal (Mt: 16, Rng: 1) which grants Atk+3, and if a unit’s Atk > foe’s, the unit gains special cooldown charge +1. Also available will be Galeforce, that if Roy initiates an attack, will allow him to take another action after combat.
Next, the first-place winner for the women, Brave Lady Lyn from Fire Emblem (GBA). At 5-Star ranking, she will be able to learn Mulagir (Mt: 14, Rng: 2) which is effective against flying units and grants Spd+3. If the foe is a magic user, the foe’s bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.) are nullified during combat. Also available will be Sacae’s Blessing, in which if a foe has a sword, lance, or axe, the foe will not be able to counterattack.
Lastly, the first-place winner for the men, Brave Mercenary Ike, from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. At 5-Star ranking, Ike will be able to learn Urvan (Mt: 16, Rng: 1) to accelerate Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Also, if the unit receives consecutive attacks, damage from second attack onward is reduced by 80%. Ike can also learn Beorc’s Blessing which is effective against flying and cavalry units. The for’s bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.) are nullifies during combat.
In celebration of this reveal, players will be able to choose one of the above units at no cost when this event launches on August 31st. On the same day, there will be a Voting Gauntlet for the Top 4 finishers for each gender – Ike, Lyn, Roy, Lucina, Hector, Tharja, Chrom, and Camilla – and it will be up to you to help your favorite win. That’s not all, as there will also be a browser based game on the official Fire Emblem Heroes website that you can earn orbs, wallpapers, and more using CYL units.
