Nintendo has just announced that a new Nindies Showcase, focusing on indie titles coming to the Nintendo Switch, will be arriving on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 at 10am PT/1pm ET. You will be able to watch the video at live.nintendo.com.
The last time we recieved a Nindies Showcase was on February 28th, 2017, just before the Nintendo Swtich launched, and gave us glimpses of indie games headed to the system, some of which have already been released. Some of the highlights of that showcase were TowerFall Ascension, SteamWorld Dig 2, Runner 3, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, Yooka-Laylee, and Stardew Valley, though many more were discussed in a fast-paced video that showed the breadth of games arriving on the newest Nintendo Console.
As with most of these announcements, there was no more information given as to what to expect, but we should hopefully get some new games with updates on previously announced titles. Here’s hoping we get a firm release date for Stardew Valley.
