Nintendo has just announced that Walmart will be the exclusive retail partner for the Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 Edition Bundle. Arriving on September 8th, 2017, this bundle will include a Nintendo Switch, a download code for Splatoon 2, a Splatoon 2 themed carrying case, and Neon Pink and Neon Green Joy-Cons. The suggested retail price will be set at $379.99 and this bundle will be the first time North America will have access to these specific Joy-Con colors.
The Splatoon 2 bundles have already been available in other territories, and in the press release for the North American bundle, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Doug Bowser, said;
“Consumers in Japan and Europe have already had a strong response to Splatoon 2 bundles in their territories. This exclusive Walmart bundle gives people who have been waiting to buy a Nintendo Switch a great value and incentive to get splatting.”
