Tequila Works’ latest title, RiME, is headed to the Nintendo Switch on November 14th in North America and November 17th in Europe. Originally released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 26th, 2017, RiME puts you in the shoes of a young boy who washes ashore on a mysterious island. It’s up to you to explore, discover, and solve puzzles in a very beautifully stylized world.
RiME was originally shown in 2013 PlayStation Press Conference at Gamescom that showed a bunch of indie titles headed to the PlayStation 4. In 2016, Tequila Works reacquired the rights from Sony and the game turned from an exclusive to a multi-platform release.
“As big fans of Nintendo, we truly appreciate our fans’ patience as Tantalus and Tequila Works continue working on RiME on Nintendo Switch; we are all committed to making sure all players get the high-quality experience they deserve,” said Raúl Rubio Munárriz, CEO and creative director of Tequila Works.
RiME will release on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $30 or physically for $40. It’s important to note that the physical release includes a download code for the game’s soundtrack.
