As they work to escape their would-be purgatory, a mysterious stranger tries to bring the group back together in order to embark on one last great adventure.
Following a cliffhanger at the end of the thirteenth issue, Age of Doom will pick up where things left off, beginning in April of 2018. In addition to the regular version, each issue of the ongoing series will feature a variant cover from different artists. The first issue will have a cover from Skottie Young, while issue two will feature a variant from Fábio Moon.
More Black Hammer will be making its way to comic shops soon, in October, Dark Horse will be releasing the first issue of Sherlock Frankenstein & The Legion of Evil, written by Jeff Lemire and illustrated by artist David Rubín. The four-issue mini-series series follows an investigative reporter named Lucy Weber, the daughter of the Black Hammer, as she uncovers the dark origins of some of her father’s most dangerous enemies, offering more insight in to the world of the series. A variety of Black Hammer mini-series are expected to be released, with Sherlock Frankenstein & The Legion of Evil being the first, each featuring a different artist.
