Destiny 2 is now almost a month old, and with each week on Tuesday, new milestones are added and the weekly Nightfall Strike changes. Many of us last week were probably still within that 270-280 power level trying their hardest to avoid the annoying Inverted Spire strike that was part of that week’s Nightfall (I despise those drills with a passion). Now with Week 3 upon us, here are the new tasks to get those juicy Luminous Engrams!
Nightfall – Exodus Crash
The weekly Nightfall Strike is Exodus Crash. Many may remember this strike due to it’s final boss fight. While the boss may be about the same size of a Fallen Captain and isn’t too much a bullet sponge, he constantly tele-ports and will go invisible. This looks like it will lead to some intense encounters due to the 10 minute time-limit.
Nightfall Challenges:
- Speed of Dark – Complete the Nightfall with at least five minutes remaining
- Unbroken – Complete the Nightfall with fewer than three Deaths
- Faster than Lightning – As a Fireteam, defeat 9 Shanks with melee attacks befire defeating Thaviks
Nightfall Modifiers:
- Prism – Enemy shields will change it’s element vulnerability constantly. Throughout the strike, a message will pop up saying a certain element type (Solar, Void, and Arc) is surrounding you. Use each elemental type for damage is it will be more effective. Other elements will end up doing 50% less damage.
- Attrition – This greatly reduces health and shield regeneration. Killing enemies will sometimes spawn wells of Light that can restore your health and charge your super. Anomalies spawns some objects that you can destroy to increase the mission timer.

Weekly Clan XP
- Complete Strikes, Raids, Quests, Adventures, and Patrols to earn Clan XP
Call To Arms
- Complete Crucible matches. Points earned will further progress towards this milestone.
Flashpoint:
- Complete Public Events on Titan – Be sure to complete Heroic Public Events as these grant more progress towards the Flashpoint.
Meditation Missions:
- Six: a crashed colony ship, an inter-species war… Cayde-6 got that adventure he wanted. Go save him from it.
- Looped: No one’s heard from Cayde-6 since the Hunter took off for an uncharted world. Track him down.
- Utopia: Venture deep into the heart of the Hive to retrieve a powerful Golden Age CPU—and make it out alive.
