Penny Arcade and ReedPOP have done it again! PAX West 2017 is a wrap and our Marooners’ Rock team has finally gotten a chance to cool down and come back to reality. PAX West – formerly known as PAX Prime – is arguably one of the best gaming conventions each year and is an event that everyone with a love of gaming should experience at some point in their life. This four-day weekend event takes place right in the heart of Seattle Washington and is a celebration dedicated to showcasing video game and tabletop gaming culture.

Now it’s time for us to address what you really came here for – The Best Games of PAX West 2017 Nominations and Awards. Our writers had the privilege of attending this year’s event and trying out handfuls of the hundreds of games that were present. Over the course of the four-day PAX weekend, we frequently smashed our heads together and gushed about the different that games we tried. As a result, we came up with this list of game Nominations and Awards. This list is comprised of some of the best games that we here at Marooners’ Rock had the chance of playing. Please keep in mind that there are several games that our team didn’t have the opportunity of seeing. It is physically impossible for three people to see every game on a show floor of that size in such a short amount of time.
