New Hello Neighbor Trailer Drops Just In Time For Halloween

tinyBuild dropped a creepy new trailer for their upcoming stealth-horror game, Hello Neighbor. Hello Neighbor was one of the more memorable titles I got to play back at E3 this year. While there may be a plehtora of stealth based horror games, Hello Neighbor put a unique spin on it with it’s blocky animations and art style. It’s got the colorful aesthetic of Pixar’s Up mixed with the terror and tension of the game Alien: Isolation. Instead of a viscous Xenomorph stalking us, we have the creepy neighbor (who may or may not be a serial killer) from across the street hunting us down.

Hello Neighbor was originally unveiled at TwitchCon last year, with a Pre-Alpha being released not long after. So far the unconventional horror game has been met with much excitement. The purpose of Hello Neighbor is to fully investigate the house across the street as something dark and mysterious may be going on there. In my impressions post from E3, the most impressive aspect of Hello Neighbor was it’s AI. In my quick demo, the neighbor was extremely adaptable to the decisions I made, constantly forcing me to change up my strategy, which just racked up the tension to 11.

Hello Neighbor is set to release on December 8th for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. According to tinyBuild, the footage of this new trailer contains gameplay from the final release of the game. Check it out below!
