November 2017’s Games with Gold Offer Disappoints

Over the last three years, Xbox Live gold members have had the luxury of receiving a variety of free games through the Games with Gold program each month. Sadly, November 2017’s Games with Gold offer will leave Xbox Live Gold members feeling rather disappointed and questioning if they should even continue their Xbox Live Gold membership.

November 2017’s Games with Gold offer will provide Xbox Live Gold members with the standard four free titles that they have become accustomed to comprised of two Xbox 360 games and two Xbox One games. Sadly, only one title on the list of free games for the month of November even raises an eyebrow and disappointingly only to the half-cocked level.

November 2017’s Games with Gold Offer will give Xbox Live Gold members: Trackmania Turbo, Tales from the Borderlands Complete Season, NiGHTS in dreams, and Deadfall Adventures.

Starting on November 1st, Xbox One Gold members will be able to download Trackmania Turbo ($39.99 USD) for free until December 1st. If you have ever felt like playing a game like Mario Kart but on the Xbox One then you might be in luck. Xbox One and Xbox 360 users will also be able to download NiGHTS into dreams ($9.99 USD) for free until November 15th.

Starting on November 16th, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download Tales from the Borderlands Complete Season (episodes 1-5) ($14.99 USD) until December 15th. Tales from the Borderlands is arguably one of Telltales best games if not in close contention with The Wolf Among Us for number one title. The last and probably the least heard of title on the list is a Nordic Games title called DeadFall Adventures. Deadfall Adventures ($39.99) will be free from November 16th until November 30th.  Travel and explore through parts of Egypt in the year 1938 to discover an ancient artifact.

Remember all Games with Gold titles are yours to keep once redeeming the free offer. Hopefully, December 2017’s Games with Gold offer will be somewhat more exciting to celebrate the release of the Xbox One X and due to the less busy release window for games.
