A beyond-exciting announcement for Life is Strange fans—Hannah Telle and Ashley Burch will be returning to voice Max Caulfield and Chloe Price in the bonus episode “Farewell” from Before the Storm’s deluxe edition, releasing early 2018.
Square Enix praised Rhinna DeVries’s voice over and motion capture work on the first two episode, and mentioned that she will continue to do the motion capture for Chloe in the final episode.
“The team here were thrilled to hear the news that both Hannah Telle and Ashly Burch were able to come back together again to voice Max and Chloe”, said Jeff Litchford, Vice President, Deck Nine Games. “We were really happy with Rhianna DeVrie’s performance as Chloe in Before the Storm and the fan reaction to her has been great, she’ll continue to work closely with us as part of a really close team we have created.”
The deluxe edition of Life is Strange: Before the Storm allows players to experience life in Arcadia Bay from Max Caulfield’s eyes once again, and possibly will be the last time players will see Max and Chloe together.
You can find more details in the newly released video below, “Farewell – Behind the Scenes.”
Life is Strange: Before the Storm is set in Arcadia Bay three years before the first game in the series. Players assume the role of Chloe Price, a rebellious 16-year-old struggling to navigate through her tumultuous teenage years. It’s through her unlikely newfound friendship with Rachel Amber that gives Chloe the courage to face her demons, as she provides the same strength to Rachel in return.
