With the release date on the horizon, PlayStation 4 players will get a third and final open beta for Monster Hunter World. The last beta before release starts today January 18th and will end Sunday, January 21st. Also, according to a Monster Hunter twitter post, it appears that 10 million hours have already been sunk into the betas. Needless to say, fans are ecstatic to get their hands on the final product next week.
The Guild reports are in: #MHWorld Beta on PS4 has been played for over 10 million hours!

The beta will be similar from the first two with the addition of a fourth hunt against the game’s flagship monster the dangerous Nergigante, but anyone who hasn’t gotten the chance to sink their teeth into the betas yet will now get their chance. (I myself did not contribute any of those hours, but I plan to start the beta tonight.)
The third beta will include the following 4 missions:
- “The Insatiable Nergigante”
Nergigante Hunt
Locale: Wildspire Waste - “Great Devourer, Great Jagras”
Great Jagras Hunt
Locale: Ancient Forest - “Wildspire Rampage”
Barroth Hunt
Locale: Wildspire Waste - “The Ancient Forest Menace”
Anjanath Hunt
Locale: Ancient Forest
