I think I speak for many when I say I’m so stoked to jump back into the world of Assassin’s Creed: Origins. Origins was my favorite title of 2017 and I’m more than happy to go on yet another adventure in Ancient Egypt with Bayek. In my review I gave the game an 8.9 and stated how this was the game that put the AC franchise back on course. The Hidden Ones, the first of two story expansions, will release on January 23rd. Ubisoft has released a launch trailer for the DLC.
The Hidden Ones will follow Bayek once again and is set not long after the ending of Origins. The narrative will explore how the Brotherhood goes up against more occupying Roman Forces. I’m really excited to see the early actions that shaped the Brotherhood. The expansion will also give players a new region to explore; Sinai Peninsula (as if the Origins map wasn’t big enough).
