Hey, Rockers! Apologies for not commenting or posting on January 2018’s Games with Gold titles. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we were not able to provide you with the usual coverage that our community has been accustomed to. Please accept our dearest apologies. Now that we have gotten that out-of-the-way, let’s talk about February 2018 Games with Gold and January 2018’s Games with Gold. January 2018’s Games with Gold titles was rather lackluster, offering Xbox Live Gold members The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III, Army of Two, Zombi, and Tomb Raider Underworld. These titles, although free, left a rather unpleasant taste in Xbox Live Gold members mouthes due to the age of the age of the games and lack of multiplayer capabilities. February 2018’s Games with Gold titles looks to rebuild Xbox Live Gold Members faith in the Games with Gold program.
February 2018 Games with Gold offer will have players sprint throw levels with action-packed objectives to complete. Starting on February 1st, Xbox Live Gold members will have the ability to download Shadow Warrior ($29.99 ERP) and Split / Second ($19.99 ERP). Shadow Warrior is the story of Lo Wang, a shogun who has been betrayed by the company that he dedicated his life to. Help Lo Wang recover a mystical blade with untold power an vanquish all those that are in your way. Shadow Warrior will be free until March 1st, 2018.
If Shadow Warrior was not enough to make your excited for February 2018 Games with Gold, Split / Second will get your heart pounding and motors running with action-packed races that will have you rethinking everything you know about the racing genre of video games. Split / Second lives up to its title, where drivers are required to make split-second decisions while racing against other drivers on a reality television show. Split / Second is a great Disney made racing game that will make players adapt to an ever-adapting destructible environment. Split / Second will be available to down for free until February 16th.
Starting on February 16th, Xbox Live Gold members will have the opportunity to step into shadows and experience what it could be like to be an assassin in India in Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India ($9.99 ERP). Explore India in this unique 2,5 D side-scroller that will allow you to experience some of India’s beautiful scenic views. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India will be available to download for free until March 15th.
Last but probably the most exciting Games with Gold title for the month of February is the game that had gamers around the word driving like maniacs to drop off passengers. Crazy Taxi originally was released in 1999 for arcades. Crazy Taxi was later ported to the Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, GameCube, PC, PSP, Xbox, and Gameboy Advance. Crazy Taxi ($9.99 ERP) will be free to down from February 16th to 28th on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
February 2018 Games with Gold offer is a vast improvement compared to its January counterpart. All four of these titles will have players hearts racing as they sprint through beautiful levels and scenic environments to overcome goals and obstacles that are set in their way. All titles that are a part of the Games with Gold program are yours to keep after original download. You must be an Xbox Live Gold member to redeem these offers for free. Personally, I am excited to try Shadow Warrior for the first time and fall back in love with Crazy Taxi.
