Announced at Prime PAX just last year, the PC online multiplayer RPG TERA will be coming to consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Developer En Masse Entertainment has announced that an open beta will run the weekend of March 9th – 12th. While there is no official release date for TERA, En Masse has stated fans should expect it this upcoming Spring 2018.
For those unfamiliar, TERA is a colorful massive high-fantasy MMORPG where players take on BAMs, (or Big Ass Monsters in technical terms). Since 2011, players have enjoyed it’s high octane action that mixes well with a dynamic RPG battle system. TERA can be played solo, but it’s always at it’s best when bringing friends along, especially if they are going to take on a Kelsaik. Now console players will get the opportunity to jump into this world.
Sr. Product Manager Matt Denomme spoke about the resounding success of TERA and how moving to console will be the next big step for the franchise, “We feel the results speak for themselves and we’re excited to get the game in the hands of players during our upcoming Open Beta event weekend. Consoles need a solid MMORPG and TERA is prepared to deliver.”
