Farming Simulator 19 Announced

Farming Simulator 17 Tractor

Get ready to lace up your work boots, and step back into the cab of your favorite tractor, because GIANTS Software and Focus Home Interactive have just announced Farming Simulator 19, coming to consoles and PC by the end of 2018! The Reveal Trailer released today has a great feel of what’s coming.

At launch, Farming Simulator 19 will feature three distinct open worlds in which to develop and expand your farm. Solo and co-op options will allow players to decide whether their farms are private property, or community playgrounds. Two entirely new environments will be revealed Soon*, the third environment is a heavily improved version of the South American biome, overhauled to take advantage of Farming Sim 19’s new engine capabilities.

The graphics engine has been completely overhauled for this iteration of the cult favorite. Offering the most striking and immersive visuals and effects to date, along with the deepest and most complete farming experience ever, developer GIANTS Software promises that this is the closest players can get to actually farming, without, you know, actually farming.

According to GIANTS Software, Farming Sim 19 will be the biggest leap forward yet for the franchise. While the improved graphics promise to make virtual farming better looking than ever, the game is boasting new brands that expand the vehicle roster to the largest ever. New farming activities, horses and a variety of other new animals, new mechanics, and new crops round out the expanded feature list.

Farming Simulator 19 will be coming for Sony’s PlayStation 4, Microsoft’s Xbox One, and Windows PCs sometime later in 2018. Gamers who just can’t wait (and don’t want to take any chances falling in love with the farmer’s daughter) can pick up Farming Simulator 17 or 15 on Steam now, or keep a look out on the popular bundle sites, as these games come on sale in bundle packages fairly regularly.
