Ubisoft has revealed seven character vignettes for the upcoming release of Far Cry 5. The videos each detail one of the companions that players will have the opportunity to recruit in the battle to take back Hope County from the Project at Eden’s Gate.

Nick Rye

Nick Rye, the self-titled “King of the Skies.” He’s looking to save his family’s future and defend Hope County at the same time. We’ll leave the believability of a Super Cub on floats carrying a minigun and underwing bombs for another day.

Grace Armstrong

An Afghanistan War veteran who spent her time tour as a sniper, she now works to protect those who can’t protect themselves.

Boomer

America’s Very Good Boy, Boomer just wants to go for a ride. And chew on some cultists. Or squirrels, because they’re like furry tennis balls from God. Definitely cultists too though. Who’s a Good Boy? Boomer’s a good boy. Yes he is.

Jess Black

Master Huntress Jess Black has a chip on her shoulder from what the Project at Eden’s Gate did to her. Perhaps your interests in destroying the cult are mutually compatible?

Hurk

Hurk isn’t the sharpest crayon in the box, but he’s loyal. He’s also sick and tired of cultists messing with his mom Adelaide, and his younger cousin Sharky. Just keep him and his RPG launcher pointed towards the enemies, and everyone will be happy.

Adelaide Drubman

Hurk’s mama, Adelaide Drubman, aka “The Chopper Queen” doesn’t let anything or anyone hurt either her business ventures or her son. She’s more than willing to help you take out some Peggies from her heavily modified, machine-gun armed, pink camoflaged Bell 47 helicopter.

Sharky Boshaw

Hurk’s younger cousin Sharky is a bit of a pyromaniac. Maybe “a bit” is a serious understatement. Either way he’s happy to follow in his cousin’s footsteps and help clear the Project at Eden’s Gate out of Hope County once and for all.

Far Cry 5 will be available March 27th, 2018 on Sony’s PlayStation®4 systems, Microsoft’s Xbox One family of consoles, and Windows PCs. The previously announced Season Pass will be include several additional adventures beyond the game’s base campaign.
