With PAX East happening just a month from now, the four games that will be featured in the mobile games Indie Showcase have been announced. They are Bouncy Smash, Hexland Heroes, Jenny LeClue – Detectiveu, and Warhammer: DOOMWHEEL.

Developed by IV Studios for iOS, Bouncy Smash puts players in control of a cute little bouncing ball guy (“ALL HAIL BALL”, anyone?) where the goal of each level is to bounce and smash all of the other bouncing balls. Choose Arcade Mode for endless fun, or take on Daily and Weekly challenges to earn special outfits, skins, and skills.

Hexland Heroes, developed by Niebla Games for iOS and the web, is a puzzle-strategy game inspired by the lengthy, hardcore 4X games beloved by PC gamers. However, as befits a mobile game, the strategy has been distilled down to a series of short and sweet puzzles, the goal of each being to capture the enemy base. Matching the colors on adjacent hexagons generates movement points that allow allied units to progress down the path, fight enemies and capture bases.

Jenny LeClue – Detectivu has been developed by Mografi, for mobile, PlayStation®4, and PCs via Steam. An interactive mystery novel, it sets players in control of the titular Jenny LeClue, a ten-year-old junior detective in the mold of Harriet the Spy or a young Nancy Drew. Unfortunately for Jenny, nothing much ever really happens in her small town, at least until her mother is accused of murder!

Finally we have Warhammer: DOOMWHEEL, the best endless runner game to ever bear the Warhammer license. Okay, it’s probably the only iOS/Android endless runner to carry that license, but it’s still good. Developed by Katsu Entertainment, Warhammer: DOOMWHEEL puts players in control of a Skaven Doomwheel, with a simple goal: Solve all the problems. Because when all you have is Doomwheel, everything looks squishy.

Marooners’ Rock will have a lot more coverage of PAX East 2018 as the show gets closer!
