Xbox has recently revealed that later this month, players will get 19 original Xbox games will get the backwards compatibility treatment. A few of these have stood the test of time and are considered classics today, including the legendary Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. This was recently teased in recent article on the Xbox Wire, as they stated how their common request is more updates with the Original Xbox Backwards Compatible games.
These 19 games will come out in two separate batches, with the first one being rolled out on April 17. Morrowind is included in this first batch, as well as Jade Empire and the Conker’s Bad Fur Day remake. The next batch will soon follow a week later on April 26, with multiple beloved Star Wars titles being included. These Star Wars titles consist of such titles as both Star Wars: Battlefront I and II, Star Wars: Republic Commando, and the critically acclaimed Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. On top of that, players will also get the chance to revisit the cult hit Destroy All Humans.
For any players who still have the discs of these 19 games, they will be able to insert that disc into their current gen Xbox One console and start playing. They will also be included for download in the Xbox Store.
