Ubisoft is definitely going into E3 with their heads held high. After the massive success of Assassin’s Creed Origins in 2017 and Far Cry 5 earlier this year, the developer is gaining a ton of momentum heading into E3 2018. Ubisoft has just announced that their E3 2018 Press Conference will take palce at the Orpheum Theatre on June 11 at 1:00 p.m. PT.
As of right now, the biggest guarantee for the conference is gameplay for The Division 2. As for any new IPs or sequels, it’s anyone’s guess. Rumors have been spreading that there will be an announcement for Watch Dogs 3, as well as a new Assassin’s Creed (please be China or Japan). I also wouldn’t be surprised if we got an announcement for a next installment in the long running stealth franchise, Splinter Cell. Recently, the series protagonist Sam Fischer made an appearance on Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Coincidence? I think not!
The conference will of course be live streamed and kick off with a pre-show. For more information on Ubisoft at E3 2018, please visit the Ubisoft News site.
