After Tom Clancy’s The Division received it’s Resistance, Update 1.8, it seems there may be still life left in The Division. After this, Ubisoft announced that there will be another update following this, Update 1.8.1. This updates will finally give The Division a full Xbox One X Enhanced 4k optimization.
The update will also tweak certain things to the main game, which includes an increased drop rate for Classified Gear and also over 40 new commendations. In addition to optimizing The Division, there will also be two new global events added at the end of April and May; Blackout and Onslaught.

- Increased drop rate for Classified Gear
- Legendary difficulty added for Amherst’s Apartment and Grand Central Station missions
- More than 40 new commendations
- Global Events offer new Classified Gear Set catches specific to each set
- Legendary Missions have 20% chance to reward Classified Gear
- Assignments provide more Division Tech
- Season Pass supply drop awards 100 Division Tech
- Bug fixes
This update is sure to help gain some momentum as Ubisoft plans to unveil The Division 2 at this upcoming E3 2018. More information can be found on the Division’s website.
