Rockstar has just released a brand new batch of gorgeous screenshots for their upcoming sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar hasn’t shown that much to the general public aside from 3 story trailers and other screenshots, but this isn’t anything new for the developer. For now, we just gotta enjoy the screenshots and look forward to October.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to take place in 1899, which is before the events of the first Red Dead Redemption, which took place in 1911. The story looks to kick off directly after a botched train robbery from Dutch dutch Van Der Linde’s gang. On the run from law enforcement and bounty hunters, players will take on the role of Arthur Morgan, Dutch’s right-hand man, to survive in an era where legendary outlaws are soon becoming a myth.
Red Dead Redemption 2 releases this year on October 26 for Xbox One and PS4.
