It’s safe to say that Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of, if not the most anticipated game of 2018. It certainly is for me. As much as the game has been hyped up, there’s very little information to go off of except for the game’s narrative, which is supposedly taking place before the events of Red Dead Redemption. This was all shown in the game’s first two trailers, and luckily for us, developer Rockstar does not show cinematic trailers, as everything shown in their trailers is seen in the actual game. Today, Rockstar has finally unveiled a brand new trailer!
Once again, let’s not get our hopes up too much for more information. Rockstar has been known to be keep many details under wraps prior to their big releases. I’m also not expecting to see Red Dead Redemption 2 at E3 2018 as Rockstar rarely ever attends the event. It’s not like they need to, as we’re all certain the sequel will be a massive success. Maybe not nearly as massive as Grand Theft Auto V, but successful nonetheless.
America, 1899.
The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.
After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.
