Since the launch of Closers, En Masse’s MOARPG (Multiplayer Online Action RPG), the biggest complaint of many players has been the Fatigue system that limits progress for hardcore and weekend warrior players. Today, En Masse announced the major changes coming in the July 3rd patch, and are granting players’ wishes with the total removal of the Fatigue system.
From the blog post on the official Closers website:
“We heard you loud and clear. As of July 3, we’ll remove the fatigue system from the NA and EU versions of Closers. We’ve been watching, observing, and listening to all of your comments in regard to this system. It became obvious the system wasn’t good and took away the fun for a majority of players in our regions. Naddic is a very player focused developer and aligns with our En Masse mission to create great Player Experiences. So, we are very happy to announce the implementation of this change in the next update!”
Per the blog, the various fatigue reduction items which currently exist in the game will be removed. Players with unused items of this type in their inventory can expect to see some form of reimbursement once the July 3rd patch arrives.
In addition to the removal of the Fatigue system, the July 3rd patch will also introduce the last member of the Wolf Dogs team, Violet. A greatsword-wielding phase user, Violet utilizes her Phase Force abilities in conjunction with her devastating sword attacks to ravage all enemies within sight. Assisted by her personal assistant Hyde, Violet secretly hides her own goal while working for the Wolf Dogs – to bring her real father’s killer to justice.
