Tom Clancy’s The Division was definitely a mixed bag for gamers. Many praised it for it’s close quarters combat mixed with deep RPG elements. Still, the game as a whole felt like a forgettable experience all together. Ubisoft has recently announced that The Division 2 is officially happening. At today’s Xbox Press Briefing, we got our first glimpse of it’s gameplay.
Once again, the gameplay demo we got to witness still has the terrible dialogue that the first Division had at it’s E3 demo a few years ago. As for the game itself, it still contains that cover based shooting mechanics, but the environments around seem to be more open, with this entry taking place in Washington D.C. As it is a cover based shooter, it’s worth noting that the combat looks more frenetic and, instead of just staying in one place to shoot the whole time like the original.
