At the most recent Video Game Awards, From Software teased us with a new project in the works. The sight of a bloodied weapon, and the quote, “Shadows Die Twice.” Many had speculated this could possibly be Bloodborne due to the tone of the trailer. Just now at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference, it has now been unveiled as Sekiro.
Right of the bat, it’s easily noticeable that this is a From Software title with it’s camera angle that’s reminiscent of the Dark Souls games. That being said, it’s combat is something to take note of. It’s something we really haven’t seen in a Souls game or Bloodborne as verticality seems to play a key role. We also saw an exciting traversal system in the gameplay, so this is a game to keep an eye out for. Not many details have been unveiled yet, so we will keep you posted once From Software reveals new information.
