MAINGEAR Announces PULSE 15 Gaming Notebook with RGB Mechanical Keyboard

MAINGEAR PULSE Closed Laptop

MAINGEAR PC announced today their next generation PULSE 15, the thinnest notebook available with a mechanical keyboard. The PULSE was engineered to deliver the best gaming performance possible while maintaining a thin and light design.

As a gamer who spends way too much time on his laptop, but definitely prefers the mechanical keyboard on my desktop PC, the idea of a thin, portable gaming laptop with a great keyboard sounds like the best of both worlds. MAINGEAR PC sounds like they have the answer with the PULSE 15. MAINGEAR says their new baby is only 0.86 inches, with a weight saving design. An ultra-slim bezel 1080p 144Hz 15.6″ display gets packed into the form factor of a 14″ notebook, packaged with gunmetal gray brushed aluminum and black accents.

MAINGEAR PULSE Mechanical Keyboard

Nothing like a lit up, mechanical keyboard to help you find your WASD keys in the dark.

The keyboard features individually addressable RGB keys, replaceable keycaps, and mechanical switches. According to MAINGEAR, the multi-gesture touchpad is nearly as good as a regular mouse.

Cooled by a thermally optimized dual fan and copper pipe cooling system, the PULSE delivers similar gaming horsepower to a desktop PC, but in a sleek and compact notebook. It features the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card and is optimized to deliver the best gaming performance in AAA games, VR, and the latest Esports titles. It is also powered by an Intel® 8th Gen Core™ i7-8750H 6 Core mobile processor, providing massive performance for gaming and streaming.

MAINGEAR’s new MARC II custom paint process allows buyers to personalize their PULSE to their individual tastes. The exclusive seven step paint process can apply full coverage artwork encased in a high gloss automotive paint finish. With the option to upload a personal design or choose from MAINGEAR’s exclusive designs, no two machines have to be the same.

So thin, you might even be able to use it in an economy seat.

In addition to MARC II, the new PULSE is also available with MAINGEAR’s True Automotive Paint Finish. This includes a new set of colors for 2018, including the Spectrum Chameleon finishes.

“I was tired of seeing the lack of innovation and same boring black designs in every gaming notebook” said Wallace Santos, CEO and Founder of MAINGEAR. “The new PULSE stands out from the crowd with beautiful gunmetal gray brushed aluminium modern design that I’m proud to carry with me everyday. With top end specs and a full mechanical keyboard in a incredibly thin light design, the PULSE brings the gaming experience I’m used to at home everywhere I go”
