Ys: Memories of Celceta:
Here, you play as a man who has the most common illness in video games: Amnesia. Adol Christin awakens in the frontier village of Casnan and begin wandering until a shady informant who claims to know your past. Joining you on a job to clear a mine of monsters, he is unsurprised to watch you tear through the enemy, demonstrating your unknown capabilities as a skilled swordsman. This catches the local Romun Army’s general, who recruits the both of you to map the Great Forest of Celceta, which has proven too dangerous for others. Delving into the forest, Adol and the informant brave the dangers therein, while Adol seeks clues about his past. On the way, though, he will need to decide upon who he can trust in this quest.
The PC version of this game will include a PDF of “Adol’s Travel Journal. This game book includes adventuring strategies and artwork, among other things. The game itself has also been enhanced since its original 2013 release on the PlayStation Vita. Improved visuals, unlocked frame rates, and other features ought to make this port to the PC seamless!
Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity:
The “Scarlet Devil” Remilia Scarlet has discovered after 500 years that immortality can be boring as hell. Looking for something to break the monotony in her endless life, she happens upon a newspaper article detailing how a monster has been terrorizing the land. Thinking that this could, at last, be something that will have her heart hammering again, she dashes to find the beast.
She never finds it.
To make things even better, she comes home to find her manor demolished. Apparently, the monster was planning on paying her a house call anyhow! Remilia vows revenge and thus does this action RPG begin.
This new release has some additional tune-ups too. There will be resolution support up to 4K and Touhou Project fans can go back to the series’s roots by playing the game’s “Bullet Hell” difficulty!
